Stopped buying throwaway pads completely

We foster shelter pups, so trust me. I've gone through more throwaway pee pads than I can count. We started with two Muddy Mat® Pee Mats about three months ago. Just ordered the 4-pack. With six dogs in and out, I needed something that wouldn't tear or leak. These do not move. The grippy bottom really works. I shake it off, throw it in cold wash, dry it, ready before the next pup needs a nap. The math: we were spending $90 a month on Costco pads. Now zero.

Helped my old guy keep his dignity

My pup Max is 14. His bladder isn't what it used to be. He'd wake up at night, not make it to the door, then look so guilty I'd cry. I tried throwaway pads, but the noise of the plastic upset him. I was wrong about this

I was a skeptic. I thought, "wash a pee pad?? gross." But after spending $400 a year on throwaway ones and STILL finding leaks under the corners, you'll try anything. This Muddy Mat® works. The 4-layer thing is real. I poured a full cup of water on top to test it. The bottom stayed completely dry. NO leak to my hardwood. Cleaning is way less gross than I thought. Most of it just rinses off in the laundry sink before it even hits the washer. Highly recommend.

Saved my hardwood while we trained Bowie

Got our cocker spaniel pup Bowie at 9 weeks. The first month was rough. Accidents everywhere. Soggy throwaway pads sliding around. Mopping at midnight. We ordered the 24x36 Muddy Mat® Pee Mat in beige. It changed the whole training thing. Bowie took to it on day one. (No chemical smell, soft top.) The grippy bottom means he can't flip it over even when he zooms. He's 6 months now and house-trained. We still keep one by the back door for rainy days. The mat is in the same shape it was day one.

Apartment-living essential

I'm in a 4th floor walk-up with a senior beagle. Going outside every two hours is not happening. I tried fake grass pads, throwaway pads, all of it. Doesn't look like a pee pad

Honestly? That's the reason I bought it. Every other washable pad I saw online looked like medical equipment. The Muddy Mat® Pee Mat in beige paw-print? It looks like a small accent rug. Fits the crate perfect

Bought the 24x36 Muddy Mat® Pee Mat to line our shepherd mix's crate. Fits like it was custom cut. Pup pees once or twice a day in there during the workday. I used to come home to a crate full of soaked, ripped throwaway pad. Now I come home to one slightly damp Muddy Mat® I throw in the wash. The grippy bottom is the key. The throwaway ones used to slide around and bunch up. This one stays flat.

Travels well, doesn't smell up the car

Got us through TPLO recovery

Our 7-year-old lab had TPLO surgery last fall. The cone, the meds, the no-going-outside-to-pee for 8 weeks situation. The vet said to rotate "two or three" throwaway pads daily. Ha. Try eight. The silicone backing is the difference

I've used three other "washable pee pad" brands. They all had the same problem. Fabric backing that slides on hardwood. The Muddy Mat® has silicone. Different category. It actually grips. Bought the 4-pack in 36x36 and gave one to my mom for her senior chihuahua. Both households converted.

Use them on the couch, the bed, everywhere

Started with one Muddy Mat® for the puppy. Now I have them under the cat litter box (catches the kicked-out litter), on top of the couch where my older dog naps, and one folded in the back seat of my car for trips to the lake. My Shih Tzu figured it out right away

My Shih Tzu likes it, especially in bad weather. I put it in his favorite "spot" and he figured it out right away. The pads wash easily and dry quickly. They feel very thin, but no spots came through to the floor.
